It may look like an ordinary pen, but it's not! This is a high-faluten space pen! This pen is designed for astronauts who have gravity issues while in orbit. You can write while upside down with this pen...you can write on a greasy piece of paper! AND, this isn't just an ordinary space pen (which I had and have somehow misplaced during the move), this is a multifunction space pen! You can use a black ink pen, a red ink pen, a pencil or a stylus with this baby! How you hold the pen when you press down the button on top determines which utensil is used. There are words written on different sides (you can see "stylus" above) and whichever one of the words is facing up when you push the button, that's what sticks out the point. It's ingenius I tell you!
Yes ladies, there are definite perks to having an engineer in your life. =D

That is crazy!! I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
I did...Yesterday (Saturday) David took me to Amelia Island and we walked the beach in the state park, sat on big rocks and looked at the ocean, and had GREAT conversation. We had a yummy lunch, complete with more great conversation and a vanilla milk shake with 2 straws. =) Then we collected Brianna (from David's brother and sister-in-law)and drove back to Orlando and headed for Disney. We sat at the Fort Wilderness beach and watched fire works before going to dinner at the Hoop Dee Do Musical Revue. It was SO fun!
Today we had lunch (a double date) with the Swansons, which included more great conversation, followed by a visit with Jud and Mary - with even more great conversation.
As if this all isn't enough the cards expressing love and care keep coming in...It has been a WONDERFUL birthday! God is SO good to me!
